GALAU

I try to find word 'GALAU' in English by asking Mr. Google translation, and i find 2 words : confusion, hubbub.

Actually, word 'GALAU' is one of Indonesian people's creativity. This word is being popular in this year, but I still don't know who started using that word. When I type 'GALAU' on Google search (9/5/2012), I found 21.900.000 articles write about it, can you imagine how popular is it? If 'GALAU' is a human, may be he'll be the most popular artist of the year ^_^. This word even used by many company to promote their product, check it out !

Even, I have found 3 songs that use this word to be the title : Citra Scholastika - Galau....Galau....Galau, Five minutes - Galau, and Yovie & Nuno - Galau. Oh, it has been an endemic disease.

So, what is GALAU? may be it is a condition when some one being confuse of something, think so much about something, don't know what to do about something, suddenly being melancholy, sad, or not comfort. GALAU can be an acute illness if we don't know the right way to solve it.

I think this song can show us how to solve the endemic of GALAU. I hope my translation don't change the real meaning of this song. Thanks to OPICK for the song.
